Over the busy summer months, we offer a number of well paid internships to penultimate year undergraduate students.
Our summer interns come from a wide range of undergraduate disciplines, but they must have a strong interest in
property and be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and organisational skills.
Summer interns participate fully in the day to day running of the business and can expect to gain experience in
negotiating rental prices and liaising with tenants, conducting viewings, coordinating property marketing and
handling inbound calls.
The programme will begin with a intensive training session covering the key elements of communication, organisation
and selling skills and then moving on to provide a thorough grounding in lettings legislation. Our interns then move
on to their allocated offices where they work closely their respective managers.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE 2011 PROGRAMME
This year the internship programme will start immediately and will last until Oct 14th 2011. As we mentioned above,
the pay is pretty generous at £350 per week plus a housing allowance if you don’t live in London. And we’ll also help
you find accommodation if you need it.
In addition to decent pay and training, all summer interns are invited to participate in our monthly company social events,
which typically include bowling, go-karting, karaoke, navigating the capital’s canals by narrow boat, or a night out in one
of our the capital’s many pubs or clubs.
Interest in these positions tends to be strong, so early application is encouraged. Please submit your
lettings and property management internship application.
“I joined Edmund Cude on the internship programme in the summer before my
last year at LSE. After a crash course in the mechanics of the lettings business, I felt (more or less) ready to tackle
it for real and absolutely loved being out and about showing tenants their future homes. There is a tremendous buzz in the
office, the phone is constantly ringing and deals are being agreed left right and centre, but with the guidance of the
lettings manager, I was able to engage usefully from day 1. It’s great CV points too the monthly company sponsored drinks
are bound to be a hit with any student!”
