Careers: Property Managers

Our senior negotiators typically join us with 12 - 24 months lettings or property sales experience in a multiple office environment or directly from our Graduate Entry programme. Exceptional selling and interpersonal skills are a pre-requisite and a strong record of professional and personal achievement will be expected.

Senior negotiators have a broad set of responsibilities. Like the graduate negotiator role, a key area of responsibility remains generating and conducting viewings, including negotiating terms of the tenancy agreement between the various parties involved. Conducting valuations and handling new business enquiries is a new area of responsibility compared with the graduate role. Coordinating all aspects of the property marketing campaign is also an important feature of the role, with responsibility for working with our professional photographers and creating eye-catching property descriptions.

Looking after our existing landlords and helping them agree renewal contracts is also a feature that will drawn on the senior negotiator’s prior experience as will acting as a mentor to new members of the team.

“I joined Edmund Cude straight from University having completed a Law Degree. I love the buzz in the Property Management team and the sense of excitement that comes from never quite knowing what sort of property management challenge lies ahead. I’m currently studying towards my ARLA exams, which provides a great base of learning, and I am proud to be part of a company that invests so much in its people. Every new day throws up fresh challenges, and no day is the same as the last. We have a tight knit Property Management Team, and everyone is there to give a helping hand and a push in the right direction.

Setting off your career is a daunting prospect, but Edmund Cude made this as easy as possible. Settling in was not an issue, as time is clearly taken sourcing like minded individuals, who will fit straight into the company.”
