The redevelopment of Venn Street in 2011 and pedestrianisation of its cobbled street came about as a response to the huge success of the monthly food market. The new improved site has led to the market going weekly, hosting producers such as Jacobs Ladder Farm, Wild Country Organics and Yam the Cassava, hot Creole cuisine.
