Hammersmith Bridge
Hammersmith Bridge was the first suspension bridge to be built over the River Thames and nowadays allows traffic and pedestrians to cross the river to Barnes in Richmond Upon Thames. The bridge has long suffered structural problems and has been closed for lengthy periods of time in the past.
