Edmund Cude wins Gold in Lettings Agent of the Year award

Edmund Cude has beaten off competition from more than 16,000 agents around the country to win Gold in this year's Lettings Agent of the Year awards.

The award was sponsored by the Times and awarded by the flamboyant Ruby Wax at a ceremony held at the QE2 conference centre in Westminster.

Collecting the award, Robert Nichols, Operations Director said, "We have worked tremendously hard over the past few years to make sure we really do deliver outstanding customer service and this is a wonderful endorsement of those efforts."

The assessment process included a presentation, interviews and an extensive programme of mystery shopping carried out by a panel of judges. Alex Vinter, our commercial director explains, "We commissioned a large scale training programme this year to make sure that all of our staff are consistently knowledgeable and helpful. We have even hired actors for our new negotiators to practice on!"

Edmund Cude won bronze in last year's event, and the judges described the business as "Truly impressive" singling out our new landlord web portal and our paralegal department for particular praise.
