The Bedford
Originally a hotel developed in the 1830's, The Bedford has been a central community hub for Balham since it opened. In the late sixties and seventies, it was a live music venue serving as a springboard for early gigs by acts such as The Clash and U2. It now offers dance classes, live music and club nights, and hosts the legendary Banana Cabaret comedy club.
